Free public bus and LRT rides on election day

The Electoral Affairs Commission (CAEAL) will offer free public bus and light rapid transit (LRT) rides on election day, September 14, to help voters reach polling stations for the eighth Legislative Assembly election. CAEAL has coordinated with the two public bus operators, Transmac and TCM, as well as the LRT operator. This initiative applies to all passengers for the entire day and will facilitate the flow of people boarding buses without requiring each passenger to scan their bus cards or QR codes for payment, allowing them to reach polling stations smoothly and cast their votes. Night bus routes will operate at normal fares.
