Gov’t supports Zhongshan firms’ global expansion

The Zhongshan Municipal People’s Government recently hosted its first fair at Tap Seac Square, featuring six distinctive exhibition zones showcasing smart home appliances, high-end manufacturing, food, and cultural tourism. Che Weng Keong, president of Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), attended the opening ceremony and announced a framework cooperation agreement with Zhongshan authorities. He expressed optimism about achieving resource complementarity and fostering industrial synergy, while emphasizing Macau’s role as a “service platform for trade and economic cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries” to enhance sales channels and support Zhongshan enterprises in expanding internationally.
