Galaxy Macau opens paper sculpture exhibition with Chinese artist

The Galaxy Macau resort has recently unveiled a paper sculpture exhibition created by Chinese artist Wen Qiuwen.

The exhibition is staged across the entire property.

An explorer of new traditions, Wen is recognized for her works that combine paper art and light sculpture, the most famous of which include “Southern Lion Girl” and “Shanhai Fish Lantern.”

She often deconstructs and re-creates traditional cultural symbols, ingeniously introducing surrealist elements to create thought-provoking scenography that offers a dreamy slice of theater and engages viewers on an emotional level.

“We believe the collaboration with renowned Chinese paper sculptor Wen Qiuwen is a perfect opportunity to bring Chinese culture to the tourist from the world and also help build Macau as World Centre of Tourism and leisure,” Philip Cheng Yee Sing, director of Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), said.

Customers will also see special summer menus at restaurants at the Galaxy Macau resort and special pricing scheme for stays to enjoy the Grand Resort Deck, the water wonderland at the resort.
