Corporate Bits | Conrad Macao pink inspired charity lunch raises over mop 84,000 for breast cancer

Sally-Lo,-Bede-Barry-and-Zita-OngConrad Macao, Cotai Central partnered with the International Ladies Club of Macao to host a charity lunch on 15 October as part of the hotels’ 2015 Pink Inspired campaign which raises money for Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s Pink Revolution. The Pink Revolution campaign is an annual event that raises awareness and funds for breast cancer research, and this is the fourth year for Conrad Macao to support the event. More than 200 guests all dressed in various shades of pink and who dined on a special pink themed menu attended the lunch. The event raised over MOP 84,000 for the campaign thanks to the support of major sponsors such as T Galleria – DFS, Venetian Macao Open, Butani Jewellers, AntePrima, Furla, iiJin, Rockport and Shanghai Tang.

01-kubota sake dinner at hotel royal

Hotel Royal, Macau and HN Food & Beverage Limited are jointly presenting a Kubota sake dinner on Oct 27th. Featuring an 8-course menu prepared by Catalpa Garden Shanghai restaurant, the meal pairs Shanghai cuisine with Japanese Kubota sake.
On the night, director and senior advisor of Asahi Shuzo, Mr. Makoto Hirasawa will be invited from Japan to introduce the Kubota sake series. Since this year is Kubota’s 30th anniversary, Japanese representatives will also bring the limited Kubota 30th Anniversary Junmai Daiginjo to the dinner.
Highlights of the menu include Double-Boiled Egg with Hairy Crabmeat with Kubota 30th Anniversary Junmai Daiginjo, Braised Meat Balls in Brown Sauce with Kubota Manju Junmai Daiginjo and Minced Pork with Pine Nuts and Crispy Rice with Kubota Ginjyo Genshu.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Macau is inviting Shaolin Master Hu from The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Sanya for a series of wellness workshops in Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Meditation and the art of the Zen Tea Ceremony, to be held between 26 and 29 November.
In his lectures, Master Hu will speak about the positive effects of tea and healthy food on both body and mind, as well as how to restore spiritual balance through Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Meditation.
