GEG Community Caring Program marks 10th anniversary of spreading care

The GEG Community Caring Program, title-sponsored by Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), continues to bring warmth to the community through various initiatives. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the program launched the “Technology Care Innovation Design Competition”, which engaged students and the community through intergenerational game booths, elderly visits, and outreach activities, deepening their understanding of seniors’ needs and encouraging them to design assistive tools to improve quality of life.

Following the recent Award Ceremony, GEG and the Peng On Tung Tele-Assistance Service (Peng On Tung) of the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macau (UGAMM) hosted a Spring Festival Celebration.

Joined by GEG and UGAMM representatives, as well as award-winning students, festive gifts and greetings were delivered to Peng On Tung users, seniors living alone, and elderly couples, creating a joyous and inclusive atmosphere.

Over the past decade, GEG has partnered with Peng On Tung to deliver the “GEG Community Caring Program”, bringing warmth and care into the community through initiatives such as disaster preparedness education, home safety support, festive visits, and elderly outreach.

In addition, GEG has made multiple donations to the “Peng On Tung Charity Foundation”, subsidizing nearly 30,000 financially disadvantaged Peng On Tung users. Mobilizing more than 3,300 volunteers, the program’s care activities have reached over 70,000 residents. Moving forward, GEG remains steadfast in its philosophy of “What is taken from the community is to be used for the good of the community”, working hand in hand with society to create a caring, supportive, and inclusive community.
