Registration for the “Symposium on Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration,” hosted by the Centre for the Preservation and Transmission of the Cultural Heritage of the Palace Museum in Macau under the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), is now open. The free event will be held Sunday, Jan. 25, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Macao Museum of Art Auditorium, featuring experts from the Palace Museum, Australia, Greece, and Macau. Participating experts will discuss trends in Chinese heritage, bronze restoration techniques, and the centre’s phased work on the Ruins of St. Paul’s seven façade statues. The session will be conducted in Mandarin and English with simultaneous translation.
