The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has announced that it will host free “Archive Conservation Workshops” on June 14 to mark International Archives Day. The sessions, scheduled for next Saturday, will offer hands-on training in safeguarding historical documents. The workshops are scheduled at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to teach participants how to create acid-free protective sleeves that shield fragile papers from light, humidity, and physical damage. Each 12-person workshop targets residents aged 15+, with registration opening today via the Macao One Account portal.
