The IFFAM committee has organized a number of activities leading up to, and in tandem with, the festival, which are aimed at reaching out to the community and fostering creative and cultural exchanges.

For the CINEFANTASY International Short Film Screenwriting Competition, five shortlisted finalists will present their scripts to a jury on December 10 at the Macao Cultural Centre, with the final award ceremony scheduled for December 13 at the MGM Grand. For the Creative Tee Contest, Taiwan’s Jack Io On Choi bagged the gold prize and had his design used as the IFFAM staff uniform.

The Industry Hub is the Asia-Pacific region’s newest platform for film industry professionals to exchange ideas and forge new business relationships.

IFFAM also organized a Trophy Design Contest for the Macao Audience Choice Award. The winning submission will be presented to one of the 12 competition films selected by local audiences at the IFFAM closing ceremony.
