Kick off meeting for the 2016 Sands China Macau Eco TrailHiker
Organisers of the annual Macau TrailHiker yesterday met with the necessary departments of the local government, including the Macau Sports Development Board, to kick start the count down process for the 2016 7th Edition Sands China Macau Eco Trail-
Hiker. This year’s event will take place on Saturday October 29 and will include a 10km “Family & Fun Event” and a 30km “Corporate Challenge.” The Macau TrailHiker press conference will take place on June 15 and teams will be able to register on a first-come first-served basis from July 1 by going to the dedicated website at www.macautrailhiker.com. The two nominated Macau benefiting charities this year will be the Rotary Club of Macau and the Richmond Fellowship Association. Last year the 2000 participants and 500 teams helped contribute MOP400,000 to Special Olympics Macau and the Association of Mentally Handicapped.
