Macau will host its first NBA House event from Oct. 8 to Oct. 12, featuring basketball icons Shaquille O’Neal, Stephon Marbury, Tim Hardaway Sr., Shawn Marion, Mitch Richmond, and Deron Williams, the NBA announced yesterday.
The event, held at The Venetian Macao, coincides with the NBA China Games 2025, presented by Taobao 88VIP, where the Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns will play preseason games on Oct. 10 and Oct. 12.
NBA House is a free, five-day interactive experience designed for fans of all ages. Attendees can participate in basketball clinics, play on an LED half-court, and enjoy themed photo opportunities.
Highlights include a first-of-its-kind LED basketball fountain inspired by Chinese marble art and the city’s skyline, a Nets-themed infinity photo booth, a Suns sneaker vault, and a chance to see the Larry O’Brien Trophy up close.
Live music, interactive exhibits, and fan-focused games will also be part of the event, along with experiences such as the NBA Replay Center, where fans can step into the role of a referee. Supporting partners include Nike, Wilson, Gatorade, Tissot, Sands China Ltd., and other local and international brands.
Wayne Chang, managing director of NBA Asia, said the Macau event “offers an immersive look at basketball culture, technology, and entertainment, providing fans with an opportunity to connect with the NBA in unique ways.”
NBA House has previously been held in countries including the United States, Canada, Brazil, France, India, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
