Macao Arts Festival opens call for local productions

The Cultural Affairs Bureau has opened a public call for locally produced programmes for the 36th Macao Arts Festival, to be held in May and June. Registered local associations and Macau residents aged 18 or above may submit proposals by Feb. 10. All performance genres are welcome, with priority given to works themed on “Cultural Encounters along the Maritime Silk Road” or featuring local elements. Selected programmes will receive production funding and be staged during the festival.
