The Macao Grand Prix Museum opened the “Macao Grand Prix Museum X The Pirelli Legend” – Racing Tyres Theme Exhibition yesterday, celebrating Pirelli’s 118-year legacy and its role in advancing passion, innovation, and sustainability in racing.
Speaking at the launch, Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, director of the Macao Government Tourism Office, said, “With every split second that counts on a racing circuit, tire-making expertise is one of the keys to racers’ victory.”
Andrea Maganzani, chief executive officer of Pirelli Asia Pacific, added, “This exhibition, after all, is more than just a tribute to our 118 years of legacy in Pirelli; it is a celebration of the values that we uphold in Pirelli, which have been driving Pirelli forward.”
According to Maganzani, the exhibition “is a celebration of the passion, innovation, and sustainability that define the future of racing.”
The exhibition will run until March 2, 2026, and features nine types of tires, including a special-edition tire with a dragon pattern, one Formula One tire, and seven motorsport tire models used in the Macau Grand Prix.
Visitors can also explore Pirelli’s tire-making process through videos, experience key moments on Macau’s Guia Circuit, and learn about the design and performance techniques behind high-speed racing cars.
Pirelli is one of the biggest tire manufacturers in the world today.
The company has a strong presence in over 350 two- and four-wheel motor and motorcycle races worldwide annually, including being the global tire partner of the Formula 1, Formula 2, and Formula 3 World Championships organized by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), the Formula Regional European Championship, and the GT World Challenge.
