Macau, Shanghai to deepen ties in tech, finance, and tourism
Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai visited Shanghai Monday to strengthen strategic cooperation between the two cities, focusing on science, technology, finance, and tourism. He invited Shanghai’s tech firms to explore business opportunities in Macau and develop specialized research projects, particularly in artificial intelligence. Sam also highlighted the potential for cross-border financial cooperation, joint education initiatives, and growth in the convention and exhibition industry. Before the meeting, the Macau delegation toured “Mosu Space,” an AI innovation hub hosting over 100 companies.
