Macau to see continued heat as South China Sea low-pressure system develops

The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau said a low-pressure area is currently located over the central to southern South China Sea and is gradually developing. The National Meteorological Center of China expects a tropical depression to form around June 5, Friday, bringing noticeable wind and rain to Taiwan and the eastern coastal areas of South China. The bureau forecasts that a high-altitude anticyclone will continue to cover the South China coast, bringing sunny and very hot conditions in Macau over the next few days, with temperatures reaching 33 degrees Celcius or above, along with possible showers and thunderstorms.
