Mail to Portugal is expected to face delays
Mail and parcel services from Macau to Portugal are delayed due to severe weather from Storm Leonardo and the aftermath of Storm Kristin that struck several regions of Portugal last week, the Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) and Hong Kong Post announced. The mail service delay alert, issued by Portugal’s postal administration, affects deliveries to mainland Portugal, the Azores, and the Madeira Islands, with expected delays of 1 to 3 days until further notice. The CTT stated, “Due to severe weather affecting Portugal, mail delivery services from Macau to Portugal will be subject to delays until further notice.”
