Man threatens coffee shop owner with knife after dissatisfaction with service

A local man in his 30s has allegedly slapped a coffee shop owner and threatened him with a knife after expressing dissatisfaction with the shop’s service. In a report by the Public Security Police and according to the shop owner, the confrontation began around 4:30 p.m. two days prior, when the suspect exhibited sudden emotional distress.

During the altercation, the shop owner was struck in the face. Approximately five minutes after leaving the establishment, the suspect returned, placed an 11-centimeter fruit knife on the counter, and issued a threat, stating, “I will get a gun next time,” before departing.

The police apprehended the suspect on a nearby street roughly 10 minutes after the report was made.

Witnesses indicated that the dispute arose over the service attitude of the shop owner while purchasing coffee, after which the suspect allegedly retrieved a fruit knife from his residence with the intent to intimidate the owner. The suspect has denied any physical attack.

However, police confirmed through surveillance footage that the suspect had indeed inflicted harm by slapping the shop owner in the face. LV
