Medical cooperation to foster development of TCM

 

The Macau Association of Chinese Medicine Practitioners has partnered with a Zhuhai hospital to co-launch a program empowering Macau’s 70 young traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) practitioners to practice in Zhuhai. The scheme aims to foster the local development of TCM – one of the pivots of the government’s economic diversification strategy. Association president Shi Chongrong said there are shortcomings in local TCM training and hopes the scheme will help local youngsters gain clinical experience.

Number, location of sandwich class housing to be determined after consultation

The Housing Bureau (IH) confirmed that the number and location of sandwich housing will be determined after finalizing the consultation. The government will roll out plans for around 24,000 public housing units in phases over the coming four years. In an additional public consultation session, IH authorities have vowed that Macau has enough land for the construction of this type of public housing.
