Melco Resorts & Entertainment hosted a special event under its “Splendors of China” program. This initiative aims to instill national pride among employees and the local community.

Launched in 2016, the “Splendors of China” program has significantly raised awareness of Chinese culture among Melco employees. It includes various courses and events, with over 9,000 annual participations recorded. Surveys indicate that more than 93% of participants feel increased pride in China’s achievements and a desire to learn more about its history and culture.

The event encouraged employees to wear traditional Chinese outfits, culminating in a “Best Dressed Chinese Outfit Contest.” Additional highlights included a keynote speech by Professor Zhu Shou Tong and cultural demonstrations.

Lawrence Ho, chairman & CEO of Melco, said, “The program enriches the experiences of our guests and colleagues, providing meaningful opportunities for our partners and helps preserve invaluable legacies for generations to come. We will continue to promote and instill national pride and patriotism through the program’s multifaceted learning opportunities.”
