More than 2,600 audience members attended “Classics Reimagined: Golden Hour Harmonies” at the Macao Cultural Centre Plaza, on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

The event featured three musical sessions and a masterclass, showcasing performances by the Janoska Ensemble, world-renowned pianist Niu Niu, and harmonicist Gordon Lee. Attendees enjoyed harmonious interpretations of classical music during the golden hour at dusk.

The Janoska Ensemble also conducted a masterclass for 17 young musicians, providing professional guidance and insight.

Wilfred Wong, executive vice-chairman of Sands China Ltd., expressed satisfaction with the event, emphasizing its role in promoting art and inspiring local talent within Macau.

“We believe that this concert will help promote the popularisation of art and bring inspiration to young musical talents in Macau. Moving forward, we will continue to introduce high-quality art events that align with the commitments of our company’s Community Revitalization Programme and Performing Arts Programme,” he said.
