Melco SME Academy provides sustainability training for local businesses

Melco SME Academy has hosted a training program aimed at helping local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) strengthen their capabilities in sustainability and business development.
Held on July 6 at Studio City, the program featured sessions by The Mekong Club, a non-profit organization focused on combating modern slavery, and Melco’s sustainability team. More than 60 representatives from 44 local SMEs attended the training, which covered topics including human rights, modern slavery, and sustainable products.
The event also included a networking session to encourage collaboration between local businesses and Melco, allowing participants to exchange information on business needs and potential partnerships.
Established in 2017, Melco SME Academy provides training and resources for local suppliers and businesses. In 2025, the academy conducted 13 capacity-building workshops, attracting 646 participants from 319 SMEs.
