MGM holds summer program for local youth

MGM has hosted its annual summer program, “The MGM Experience,” for 14 years. The program aims to help local youth maximize their summer break through hands-on learning.
This year, the program welcomed a record 200 students from 33 secondary schools, the highest participation to date.
Conducted in two sessions, participants aged 13 to 17 were referred by the Education and Youth Development Bureau and local educational associations.
Guided by experienced team members, students spent two days exploring behind-the-scenes operations at the integrated resort.
They learned about various departments, including food and beverage, front desk, bell service, spa and fitness, floral design, facilities management, resort technology, arts and culture, supply chain services, and human resources.
This interactive experience provided insights into the hospitality industry for the participants, facilitated understanding of the various roles within the resort, and encouraged exploration of potential career paths.
