
A total 1,342 building units and parking spaces were bought and sold in the city during the second quarter of 2025, with transactions totaling MOP4.85 billion based on stamp duty records.
According to the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC), the average price per square metre of usable area of residential units stood at MOP68,856.
A total of 94 residential units received licenses of use during the quarter.
Residential property transactions increased, with 801 units sold, up 47 quarter-on-quarter, while the total transaction value edged up 0.2% to MOP3.69 billion.
Existing residential units accounted for 756 transactions worth MOP3.48 billion, representing growth of 17.4% in volume and 8.8% in value.
The average price of residential units declined by 4.2% from the previous quarter. Prices in the Macao Peninsula and Taipa dropped by 2.7% and 6.5% respectively, while Coloane saw a 9.5% increase. Key transaction areas included Baixa da Taipa, NATAP, and Horta e Costa & Ouvidor Arriaga.
In the first half of 2025, a total of 2,690 building units and parking spaces were transacted, valued at MOP10.19 billion.
As of June, 5,478 units were in the design stage, 1,772 under construction, and 47 under inspection. LV
