The half-hourly fee at a number of public car parks will increase to MOP22 starting December 3, according to the Transport Bureau (DSAT). Seven more public car parks will switch to half-hourly charging, raising the total using this system to 22. The new sites include Taipa Central Park, Rua do Ponte Negra, Taipa Ferry Terminal, Lago District, Iat San Lou, Chong Sui Mei, and Iat Fai Building car parks. Under the revised rates, light vehicles will be charged MOP3 per half-hour during daytime and MOP1.5 per half-hour overnight, while heavy vehicles and motorcycles will be charged MOP1 per half-hour during daytime and MOP0.5 per half-hour overnight.
