Qingmao Port ranks fourth in China on passenger traffic

More than 28.33 million people used the Qingmao border to enter or leave Macau, a year-on-year increase of 130%, according to data from the Qingmao Immigration Inspection Station. The number of passengers has reached record highs since the establishment of the station, even hitting fourth rank in China. In 2023, the daily passenger flow of Qingmao Port has repeatedly set the highest single-day record in the New Year holidays. Among them, the daily passenger flow on Dec. 31 exceeded 135,000, the peak of the whole year.
