Re-elected FMCC chairman pledges to strengthen bilateral ties

The France Macau Chamber of Commerce (FMCC) announced that Rutger Verschuren has been re-elected as chairman for a three-year term lasting until 2021.

The election was held at Grand Lapa hotel last week during the Chamber’s annual General Assembly.

Nacky Kuan, executive director of Macao Water, was elected as vice-president.

“I am honoured to continue as chairman of the France Macau Chamber of Commerce and to work with my colleagues and fellow FMCC Executive Committee and Board of Directors members,” said Verschuren, who works as an area vice president of Macau Operations at Artyzen Hospitality Group.

“We will focus on a number of strategic developments as we continue to strengthen the ties between France and Macau, while enriching our members with knowledge and useful business connections through our offerings of leading chamber events in town.”

At the General Assembly, members also elected two new Board members: Eric Chan, general manager of One Central, and Frederico Conde, managing director of Conde Group, to fill the seats of the board of directors.
