Residents can now access chronic disease screening using medical vouchers

The Health Bureau (SSM) announced the launch of the “Chronic Disease Screening Program” yesterday. Macau residents aged 18 and older can now visit designated private clinics for consultations and use medical vouchers to cover screening costs. Currently, 79 qualified Western medicine practitioners display the program’s logo at their clinics, offering examination recommendations, result interpretations, personalized health guidance, and follow-up care. Participants can also upload data to the “Macao One Account.” Since mid-June, 85 local physicians have completed training on chronic diseases and outpatient care.
