Property price index falls 3% in Q2

The overall residential property price index fell to 196.1 in the second quarter of 2025, down 3.1% from the previous quarter, according to the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC). The index for existing residential units dropped 3.7% to 213.4, while pre-sale units rose 2.7% to 214.9. From April to June, the index slipped 2.3%, with the Macao Peninsula down 2.4% and Taipa & Coloane down 2.0%. By year-on-year comparison, the index plunged 10.4%, with the Macao Peninsula down 10.1% and Taipa & Coloane down 11.6%.
