Sands China hosts 12,800 MICE events, draws 15.7 million visits

Sands China Ltd. has hosted nearly 12,800 meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) events to date, attracting more than 15.7 million visits, as the company continues to expand its non-gaming business, as cited in a statement.
The company said its integrated resorts have played a key role in developing the city’s MICE sector since the opening of The Venetian Macao and Cotai Expo, providing large-scale venues for international conferences and exhibitions.
Sands China currently offers more than 1.6 million square feet of MICE space across its properties, supporting events spanning a range of industries and business segments.
The company said the development of MICE remains an important part of its long-term strategy, contributing to broader activity in tourism-related sectors, including hospitality, retail, and entertainment.
It added that it will continue to align its efforts with the SAR government’s “Tourism+” policy and maintain investment in non-gaming facilities to support the city’s ongoing economic diversification.
