Sands China Ltd. will extend its paid maternity leave from 70 to 90 days and its paternity leave from five to seven days starting March 1.
The updated measures apply to female employees with at least one year of service and aim to provide additional support for parents welcoming newborns.
Senior vice president of Human Resources Paulo Cheong said the company hopes the changes will allow parents more time to care for and bond with their newborns while helping families adjust during the early stages of childcare.
The gaming operator has also introduced other family-oriented support measures in recent years, including paid childcare leave and flexible shift arrangements for new parents.
The company said these initiatives are part of its broader effort to promote a sustainable and supportive working environment.
