Sands Resorts Macao, in partnership with Macau Pass, has launched an upgrade to its consumer service experience with a “Pay-to-Join Membership” using Alipay Tap! technology.
The announcement was made during an innovation showcase at Shoppes at Londoner.
The enhanced service allows Alipay users to become Sands Lifestyle members instantly upon payment, unlocking benefits such as dining, hotel, and shopping discounts.
For merchants, the platform integrates payments, membership management, and customer engagement into a single digital system, streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
The upgrade also introduces a handheld checkout solution for high-end retail and dining, allowing tap-and-pay or QR code payments anywhere in-store.
Existing members are automatically recognized, while new members can enroll with a single tap, earning loyalty points and accessing exclusive offers.
