Three arrested after money exchange dispute turns violent

Three mainland Chinese suspects have been arrested for allegedly detaining and assaulting two others in a hotel room in Cotai, after a dispute over illegal currency exchange. Police said the trio lost RMB94,500 when their bank account was frozen and suspected a scam. They lured the other party to a hotel under the guise of another exchange deal, then attacked them. The victims suffered minor injuries. Authorities seized HKD29,000 in chips and four phones during the arrest.
