UTM marks 30 years and advances cooperation zone expansion
The Macao University of Tourism (UTM) marked its 30th anniversary earlier this week, announcing that plans for a new campus in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin are underway. At a gala dinner at Macau Tower, UTM rector Fanny Vong thanked the local government and the community for their support, and outlined that transitional teaching will begin next academic year. UTM also said it aims to leverage its platform to boost research, industry collaboration, and talent development to benefit the Greater Bay Area and national growth.
