Winter flower show blooms purple in Taipa

The Municipal Affairs Bureau’s Winter Flower Show 2025, themed “Fields of Purple Blossoms,” will run from Dec. 19 to Jan. 4 at Avenida da Praia in Taipa. This year’s display features about 30,000 pots of purple flowers, including lavender, Chinese larkspur, and lupin. During this period, Macau residents aged 3 and older can join workshops organized by IAM at the show venue. Workshops include quartz sand painting, plant-dyed cloth bags, pine cone Christmas trees, and preserved bryophyte crafts. They run from Dec. 20 to 25, with entry costing MOP50 per team of up to two people. Registration opened on Dec. 1.
