The Public Works Bureau (DSOP) has received a total of 22 bids for the public tender to construct the pedestrian flyover connecting Zone A of the new landfills (A3) to the Macau Peninsula.
According to the DSOP, construction is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of this year.
After the bid opening procedures held yesterday, the DSOP noted that one bid was rejected and another was conditionally accepted, pending submission of the missing documents by the specified deadline.
Of the 20 bids immediately accepted, proposed prices range from over MOP97 million to over MOP118 million.
The proposed construction timelines range between 542 and 543 working days.
The pedestrian flyover will have a total length of approximately 400 meters and a width of 4 meters, linking the Reservoir’s maintenance circuit to the green corridor of Zone A of the New Urban Landfills, and connecting to Avenida de Hou Kong.
The flyover will cross Avenida de Amizade and run alongside Access Road A3 (viaduct), currently under construction.
It will include stairways, a barrier-free ramp on the Reservoir side, and tactile directional pavement for visually impaired pedestrians.
On the Zone A side, two elevators and stairways will be installed, and a connecting space will be reserved for future development, allowing easier linkage to other pedestrian facilities planned in the area.
