Air Macau expands flight network for summer and autumn

Air Macau is ramping up its flight offerings for the upcoming summer and autumn travel seasons, introducing new routes across mainland China, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.

The airline confirmed the expanded schedule will take effect starting March 29.

Key additions include flights to major cities such as Shanghai, Chengdu, Taiyuan, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Taichung, Bangkok, Hanoi, and Kuala Lumpur.

Seasonal flights to Fukuoka are scheduled for July and August, while Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang province, is expected to join the network in the near term.

Meanwhile, weekly services to Shanghai will rise from 14 to 18, and Chengdu will see an increase from 10 to 14 flights per week. The Macau-Taiyuan route will resume on a long-term basis, with three weekly services.

Taipei will be served by four daily flights, Kaohsiung three, and Taichung two. Bangkok, Hanoi, and Kuala Lumpur will see three, two, and one daily flights, respectively. Starting July 1, the airline will also launch services to the Philippines.

Further expansions include destinations in Northeast China, such as Shenyang and Dalian, as well as Urumqi, Xi’an, and Lanzhou in the northwest.

Beijing will continue as a major transit hub, with connections through Air China’s network enabling passengers to reach North America, Europe, and Africa, including cities such as Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Brussels, and Cairo.
