Airport sees 109,000 passengers during Golden Week
During the Labor Day Golden Week, Macau International Airport (MIA) recorded a total of 908 flights and over 109,000 passengers passing through between May 1 to May 5. The busiest day was May 1, with 201 flights and 26,314 passengers. In comparison to the previous year, there was a 59% increase in flight activity and a 66% rise in passenger numbers. Furthermore, when compared to the same holiday period in 2019, there was an 85% rebound in both flight and passenger traffic, with an 80% surge in passenger figures.
