Artyzen Hospitality Group in Macau participated in Earth Hour 2025, embracing the global theme, “Give an Hour for Earth, doing something you love.”
On March 22, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., both Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau and Grand Coloane Resort dimmed or switched off non-essential lighting across various areas, including exterior buildings, landscapes, and resort spaces
Earth Hour, organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), encourages individuals, businesses, and communities to switch off lights for one hour, raising awareness about sustainability and environmental conservation.
Guests were also invited to participate by turning off lights in their rooms.
As part of the celebration, special treats were offered, including complimentary handcrafted strawberry mochi at Kam Lai Heen and cocktails at Panorama Lounge.
“Earth Hour is more than just switching off the lights—it’s a symbol of our ongoing commitment to sustainability,” said Rutger Verschuren, area vice president of Macau & Hengqin of Artyzen Hospitality Group and general manager of Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau.
