Portuguese contemporary art celebrated at Artyzen Grand Lapa

Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau and Amagao Gallery have launched the “Portuguese Art • Creativity Dialogues” exhibition, featuring more than 50 contemporary works by 24 Portuguese artists.
Officially opened late last week to mark the Month of Portugal this June, the exhibition explores Portuguese identity and global cultural connections.
Rutger Verschuren, area vice president for Macau and Hengqin at Artyzen Hospitality Group and general manager of Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau, remarked, “As a hotel shaped by East-meets-West heritage, there’s a deep connection between our own story and the rich cultural layers found in Portuguese art. This showcase brings this to life – not only for our guests but also for the wider Macau community.”
Complementing the exhibit, the hotel is offering a Portuguese Set Dinner Menu at Café Bela Vista through June 30.
Additionally, The Cake Shop has introduced a dessert inspired by artist João Paulo’s mythical-themed work.
All artworks are available for purchase.
