As winter yields to spring, Diptyque celebrates a season in bloom where tradition and poetry intertwine. The Maison invites us on a dual journey of the heart: the limited-edition Lamei Scented Candle for the Year of the Horse, and Roses Candles, a sensorial tribute for Valentine’s Day. Through this celebration of artistry and emotion, Diptyque transforms the art of gifting into a luminous landscape of renewal and romance.

To welcome the turning of the year, Diptyque unveils the Lamei Scented Candle, a new creation inspired by the wintersweet blossom, celebrating the season through a journey of artistry. As the Lunar New Year approaches, Diptyque turns once more to the East — a region that has long sparked the imagination of its founders.

Art has always been a bridge of friendship—and the founding spirit of Diptyque. Drawing from the serene charm of Eastern gardens in the fleeting days between winter and spring, Diptyque and Zelam Lim craft a radiant scene where blooming Lamei and joyful magpies dance in graceful dialogue, bringing to life a luminous landscape—where symbols of renewal and good fortune flourish in full bloom. Zelam Lim’s artistic interpretation captures a poetic tableau of the season renewal. It opens with velvety floral notes softened by a touch of honey, evoking the tender yellow buds of Lamei blooming through frost, gently grounded by a warm, woody base.

This season, the Maison presents a festive reinterpretation of the iconic Médicis Vase hand-crafted in Portugal and now adorned in a celebratory red. Paired with the Lamei Scented Candle, it becomes a radiant companion for the season’s joyful rituals.

Diptyque is also dressing up its creations in a limited-edition motif for Valentine’s Day 2026. The Classic and Large Roses Candles feature new illustrations alongside a decorative porcelain Tray. Diptyque invited young illustrator and ceramicist Constantin Riant to reimagine his contemporary universe via three creations produced using blue engobe. Drawing inspiration from traditional porcelain sets, these emblematic Diptyque products offer the most exquisite gifts, branching beyond the expected.

The glass and ceramic vessels display drawings in red and deep blue, evoking the symbolism of love through swallows on the wing, heart-shaped foliage, and dancing letters that spell out the words Amour (“Love”) and Flamme (“Flame”), all enveloping the emblematic oval of the Maison. A red banner bears the declaration: “Le cœur est une rose que l’amour fait éclore” (“The heart is a rose that blooms when love appears”) in a tribute to Roses, the fragrance that reigns supreme on Valentine’s Day.

Joining the candles is a hand-crafted Oval Tray in enamelled porcelain, bearing the colors of the collection. With these three creations, Diptyque celebrates a poetic message to those who we adore, exemplifying an art of gift-giving in which every detail communicates desire. IS
