Briefs | CCM launches ARTmusing Summer

The Macau Cultural Center has announced the launch of ARTmusing Summer to celebrate the arts with new performances and workshops for all ages. Intended to encourage creativity in society, the series will run from late June until the end of August and will consist of over 200 events, ranging from puppetry and dance, to music and theatre. Every year the city’s creative season is supported by both international and local professionals who share their artistry with thousands of young art enthusiasts. Tickets for all ARTmusing Summer performances are on sale from May 9 at CCM’s box office and Macau Ticketing Network outlets, with some discounts available. Registration for the workshops will take place from May 9 to 14 and enrolment will run from May 17 to the beginning of June.

Together with an audio clip, the first article published on May 10 on the “Words from the Chief Executive” page said that the city’s goal of turning itself into a world travel and leisure destination is realistic, as long as everyone cooperates with each other to overcome difficulties along the road. Chui urged residents to have the courage to confront the adjustment period in the gaming industry, and to keep Macau on its course towards strong collective development. He also mentioned in the article that the city has been achieving economic diversity in phases. The chief executive expressed confidence that the robust fiscal reserve could further be consolidated to move the region towards sustainable development through its multiple roles as a Luso-Chinese platform, as well as a world travel and leisure center.

The buses run between Zhuhai and MGM’s Cotai project construction site, via the Cotai-Hengqin gate and the Golden Lotus Flower Bridge. “It is part of MGM Macau’s goal to support the Macau government’s initiatives and to show its commitment to serving the local community. This reinforces the efforts of MGM Macau in supporting the local government in improving people’s living and working conditions,” MGM’s senior vice president of design, development and construction, Mel Hansen, said.
