Photo_001Altira Macau celebrated its 8th anniversary on May 8 at the Hotel’s 38 Lounge, marking eight years of hospitality.
The celebration was attended by over 200 business and community leaders. Guests were entertained by the close-up magic performed by renowned magician Lawrence Sullivan, followed by a belly dancer, soulful jazz duo and a flapper dance.
Ms. Constance Hsu, General Manager of Altira Macau, said at the celebration, “Altira Macau prides itself with the exceptional and memorable experience it has consistently brought to every one of its guests over the past eight years. We are proud to have helped transforming the hospitality landscape in this particular part of Macau. We will continue to contribute to developing Macau into a world center of tourism and leisure.”

Swiss luxury watchmaker Roger Dubuis brought its skeleton philosophy to Asia, and hosted a cocktail event in celebration of the launch of its Astral Skeleton Exhibition at the T Galleria by DFS, Shoppes at Four Seasons, in Macau. Available until June 30, the exhibition presented a range of timepieces that evokes the Maison’s skeleton-work. The Astral Skeleton Exhibition is a continuation of Roger Dubuis’ celebration of the “Year of the Skeleton”. The setup and design of the exhibition bore resemblance to the Incredible World at the 2015 Salon International De La Haute Horlogerie (SIHH). Attendees at the Astral Skeleton Exhibition were provided with a pair of Oculus glasses, enabling them to gain a sensorial 3D experience of the timepieces.

Group photosands china care ambassadors visit tung sin tong historical archive exhibition hall

35 Sands China Care Ambassadors recently visited the Tung Sin Tong Historical Archive Exhibition Hall in groups as an experience aimed at further developing the knowledge and skills needed to continue helping the local community.
During the visit May 8-9, the ambassadors were shown an animated documentary film: Life is like a song, about the establishment of Tung Sin Tong and its course of development, and were guided through a series of images that captured the old days of Macau and the daily lives of its residents. The visit provided an opportunity for team members to understand the significance of corporate social responsibility, while also raising their awareness of this historic charitable institution.
