The reconstruction of the Catholic Center at Nam Van and Rua do Campo is largely complete, the center announced yesterday. Currently, the center is undergoing final refinements, with government approvals underway ahead of a mid-to-late second quarter 2026 opening. The planned reopening is set to coincide with the 450th anniversary of the Catholic Diocese of Macau. According to the Catholic center, the 17-story facility will feature hotel accommodations, dining options, lecture halls, conference rooms, exhibition spaces, and multiple activity rooms. It aims to welcome pilgrims, tourists, Catholics, and non-Catholics alike, fostering dialogue and blending faith with culture and hospitality.
