CE visits stallholders at Tap Seac Square

Chief Executive Chui Sai On visited stalls at the Lunar New Year Fair in Tap Seac Square on Monday, encouraging university students to improve their understanding and experience in relation to running a business.  Chui chatted with young local entrepreneurs to learn about their attitudes toward the fair, and the nature of the trading environment. Among those he spoke to were stall operators selling Macau-designed cultural and creative products.  The Government Information Bureau stated that Chui spent a total of MOP2,868 at the fair, acquiring calligraphy spring couplets, Lunar New Year decorations, and accessories, including Year of the Dog motifs, as well as some festive flowers.

DSEC gives 42 prizes for households participating in survey

The Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) awarded a total of 42 prizes in the first quarter lucky draw for those households who participated in the Household Budgets Survey 2017/2018, the bureau informed in a statement. According to DSEC, the survey, which has been running for four months, is a success thanks to the support and collaboration of citizens. The prizes were said to be an acknowledgment of the contribution of those households who completed the surveys.
