Ching Ming holiday visitors decrease 6.5 percent

During the three-day Ching Ming holiday, a total of 450,958 tourists entered Macau, a 6.5 percent decrease compared to the same period last year.
According to the Public Security Police Force, the border gate recorded the largest influx of persons (including residents and tourists) during the holiday with 513,476 entering the city. A total of 540,048 people exited Macau through the border gate. The Macau Ferry Terminal recorded some 76,755 people arriving and 79,360 people departing the territory. Meanwhile, the local airport received around 25,000 visitors during the holiday. The total number of people entering and leaving Macau during the three-day break totaled 1,429,343.
