Jointly organized by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA), the 16th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (IIICF) will take place from June 10 to 12.
The exhibition will be held at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo under the theme “Enhanced Connectivity for Win-Win Cooperation.”
This year’s expanded exhibition covers 8,000 square meters and features over 250 leading international contractors, with customized booths accounting for 90% of the exhibition space. A statement from IPIM highlights the inaugural debut ceremony planned for this year as one that will “showcase cutting-edge innovations in the sector” and emphasizes that the event serves “as a vital platform for the Belt and Road Initiative.”
Since its inception in 2010, IIICF has grown into one of the world’s most influential annual infrastructure gatherings. To date, the event has attracted over 30,000 industry leaders and more than 630 ministerial-level guests.
IPIM highlighted the forum’s role as a vital platform for pragmatic cooperation among governments, financial institutions, and enterprises engaged in infrastructure development. The event integrates key themes related to Portuguese-speaking countries, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, underscoring Macao’s strategic position in regional development.
Over the course of the event’s history, IIICF has facilitated more than 220 partnership projects with cumulative investments exceeding USD100 billion, spanning transport, energy, housing, industrial parks, engineering equipment, mineral exploration, and talent development.
This year’s program includes keynote speeches, business negotiations, exhibitions, and guided community tours.
