CE to attend plenary session today

The Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng will attend a plenary session of the Legislative Assembly (AL) at 3 p.m. today to answer AL members’ questions on government policy and social issues. The CE attends question-and-answer sessions at the AL in order to enhance “communication with AL members, optimise administrative transparency and update the public [on] the progress of Government work,” said the Government Information Bureau.  The session will be broadcast live on the television and radio channels of public broadcaster TDM.

Philippine Consulate to hold 30th repatriation flight Apr. 21

The Philippine Consulate General in Macau SAR will facilitate its 30th repatriation flight on April 21, the Times has learned. The consulate has enabled the return home of 5,761 people in 29 flights to date since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020. Usually, each flight has carried about 200 Filipinos. The most recent flight last month brought home the remains of three Filipinos who died in Macau of non-Covid related causes. 

Grand Prix Museum debuts online virtual tour 

The Macau Grand Prix Museum has debuted the new feature of a 360-degree panoramic view for residents and visitors to enjoy an online virtual tour to the museum. The zones, installations and exhibits in the Museum are brought to life in this new feature. Also, the “Museums and their Collections VI – Macau Grand Prix Museum”  themed stamp series is now on display at the Macau Grand Prix Museum. The museum is also partnering with Air Macau to launch the promotional offer “Macau Grand Prix Museum x Air Macau Boarding Pass Promotion.” As part of this promotion, until June 30, travelers can enjoy the buy-one-get-one-free offer when they purchase admission tickets to the museum by showing their Air Macau boarding pass from the previous seven days.
