Altira Macau has been honored with the Green Key standard of excellence in environmental responsibility and sustainable operations, the gaming operator announced in a statement.

The Green Key eco- label recognizes commitment from companies in the tourism industry that comply with the rigorous environmental management standards laid out by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).

Lawrence Ho, chairman and CEO of Melco Resorts & Entertainment, said, “we are delighted that each of Melco’s five hotel properties in Macau have been honored with the esteemed Green Key standard, recognizing the company’s strategic commitment to making our entertainment and luxury hospitality.”

“We will continue to advance the detailed, data-driven understanding of our impact, alongside our range of programs and targets,” he added.

Vasco presents new summer cocktails

This summer, Vasco Bar and Lounge at Grand Lapa, Macau is launching a new series of summer cocktails and mocktails, including a summer combo promotion.

According to a statement issued by the hotel, the summer combo includes a canapés platter with two summer cocktail drinks.

As cited in the press release, the hotel is featuring a Salted Caramel Ginger Bread Iced Cappuccino; Cucumber Lemonade with cucumber juice, lemon, lime and ginger ale, as well as Hi-Energy, a refreshing tropical passionfruit and grapefruit juice topped with Red Bull.

As part of its summer cocktail menu, Vasco has also crafted Fresco Fizz, a lemongrass cocktail consisting of sake; a martini with fresh cucumber, lime, lemon and homemade lemongrass syrup; Vasco Margarita; and Grand Lapa Colada, a sweet pineapple cocktail made with dark rum, cream of coconut, mango liqueur and Grand Lapa Private wine.
