To improve the standard of service quality, Macau International Airport (MIA) has constantly upgraded various facilities in the Passenger Terminal Building to satisfy different visitors. Up to this month, MIA has installed tactile warning strips through the use of tactile hazard warning tiles or blocks in front of the doors, lifts, elevators and staircases in the public areas of the Passenger Terminal Building. Visitors with visual impairments can now be warned of certain construction features by walking stick or underfoot.

Anirban Lahiri (IND)_b Credit Asian Tourvenetian macao open raises the stakes for asian tour

The 17th edition of the Venetian Macao Open returns to the Macau Golf & Country Club one week earlier than usual, from 15 to 18 October.
With the continued commitment of title sponsor – The Venetian Macao, the tournament’s prize purse sees a third consecutive increase, taking it to the USD1 million mark – a rise of US$100,000 on 2014, making it one of the most lucrative tournaments on the Asian Tour.
Speaking ahead of the official announcement of the 2015 edition of the tournament, José Tavares, President of the Macao Sport Development Board said, “Once again we’re delighted to see the return of the Venetian Macao Open. Already one of the players’ favorites, the tournament continues to go from strength to strength with a further increase in prize purse and growing popularity among the general public. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our partners: Golf Association of Macao, The Venetian Macao, who I’m sure, together with IMG, will create another top quality sporting spectacle for Macau.”
