1st-runner-up-(亞軍)Companhia de Electricidade de Macau (CEM) launched its “Energy Saving Snapshot Contest” in July. Citizens were encouraged to discover various energy saving practices from close observation of their daily lives and share tips on Facebook. The Macao Digital Photography Association and The Photography Salon Society of Macao were invited to act as co-organizers. The contest received a positive response with nearly 300 entries.
Judging comprised two parts: professional judging (70%) and public voting (30%). Professional judging was held on 18 September. In terms of public voting, citizens can still vote by clicking “Like” on CEM’s “Macau Energy Saving Contest” Facebook fan page (www.facebook.com/energysavingmacao). The champion, first runner-up and second runner-up will be awarded cash prices of MOP6,000, MOP4,000 and MOP3,000, respectively. The entry with the most “Likes” will win the “My Favorite Eco-photo” title and an Apple Watch Sport. In addition, CEM will select three voters via a draw, each of them receiving a cash prize of MOP1,000.

bigbang 2015 world tour [made] in macao

BigBang is back with their global concert tour “BigBang 2015 World Tour [Made]” which was first kicked off in Seoul this April. So far 36 shows have seen BigBang perform to more than 450,000 fans in different countries. All songs in the “Made” album have achieved all-kill across real-time music charts and topped iTunes charts in numerous countries with the music videos accumulating 280 million views on YouTube.
The creative and production teams, which include Roy Bennett, Ed Burke, Dkeil Lemash and Jonathan Lia, who have worked with Beyoncé, Rihanna, Kanye West, Madonna, and many other top stars, were invited to collaborate with BigBang on the tour, producing stage and lighting design with pyrotechnic effects.
“BigBang 2015 World Tour [Made] in Macao” makes BigBang the first ever foreign artist group to hold three consecutive shows at The Venetian Macao, with more than 30,000 tickets for the 3 shows selling out within a day after public sales began. Additional side view tickets were added later to cope with the demand, which also sold out instantly.
“BigBang 2015 World Tour [Made] in Macao” will be held on 23 – 25 October (Friday to Sunday) at The Venetian Macao.
