Corporate Bits | CTM fully supports walk for a million this year

CTM_WFAM_donationThe annual charity event “Walk for a Million” will be held this coming Sunday. As a responsible corporate citizen, CTM has been devoting its full support to this significant annual fund-raising activity by setting up donation channels through Internet and mobile, aiming at fostering more funds for people in need. Additionally, on Dec 8, CTM made a donation of MOP150,000 to the Readers of Macao Daily News Charity Fund with the objective of supporting the charitable works and contributing to social welfare development.
On the afternoon of Dec 8, representatives from the Readers of Macao Daily News Charity Fund, including Vice President Hoi King Chong, Iu Ka Chung, Choi Ka Weng, and Director Lei Weng Son paid a courtesy visit to CTM headquarters. They were welcomed by CTM’s CEO, Vandy Poon, VP of Finance, Patrick Ip, VP of Legal & Regulatory, Aguinaldo Wahnon, VP of Human Resources & Admin, Gloria Silva, VP of Commercial, Ebel Cham and Director of Corporate Communications, Eliza Chan. During the occasion, CTM made a check donation of MOP150,000 to support the “Walk for a Million” this year. The representatives of the Charity Fund expressed gratitude and appreciation to CTM for the enthusiasm in community affairs and helping the underprivileged.

Winter in Venice photo competition now open

Encountering at The Venetian Macao (Champion photo 2013)-  by Li Wei Ji_lowThe Winter in Venice Photo Competition will return to The Venetian Macao for the third consecutive year this winter. The competition invites photographers in Macau and from around the world to come and capture the goings-on at the seasonal extravaganza. Entrants should seek inspiration from the host of activities that will accompany Winter in Venice, which will last until Jan. 4, 2015, and particularly focus their efforts on the people, activities or architecture of the event. Those who make the grade will be in with a chance of winning the top prize of MOP 10,000. The best entries will also be displayed.
Organized by The Venetian Macao, the Winter in Venice Photo Competition is supported by the Macao Multimedia Photographic Art Association, the Photography Salon Society of Macao, the Macao Digital Photography Association, The Photographic Society of Macao, MCGAS, the Macao Association of Photographers, Companhia Foto Time, Lda., Digital Hang Seng, Foto Fantastic, Foto New Asia and Foto Chi Pak.
Entries of original photos (8”x10” to 8”x12” prints, without frames, black and white or color) must be submitted between Dec. 22, 2014 and Jan. 10, 2015 to qualify, with each contestant allowed to submit a maximum of 10 raw image files without any edits or software manipulation. Participants must also submit the photo in JPEG format on disc, with a resolution of at least 3,000 pixels. The photographer’s name, contact telephone number, email address, photo title and photo serial number should be clearly listed on the reverse side of each submitted photo.
